Say it Ain't So: Z Gallerie is Closing 25 Stores

I am so bummed...One of my favorite home decor retailers, Z Gallerie, recently announced the closing of 25 of their stores, including all Ohio locations. Check out the full story here. Let's hope Z Gallerie's fate is better than these companies.

Spotlight on: CB2

What is CB2, you ask? CB2 is Crate and Barrel's ultra contemporary, less expensive sister store. Unfortunately, only six stores currently exist, but luckily you can find many of their items online. 

CB2 has tons of great items to dazzle any home, but here are a few of my favorites:

Great Deals on Glassware at Crate and Barrel Outlet

Crate and Barrel is having a mega sale on their glassware and kitchen items. This Polka Dot Acrylic Tumbler is only $2.50. They also have this Stemless Decanter Set (great gift idea!) for $19.95, Martini Glasses for $2.95 each, and Metallic Trim Glasses for under a buck a piece!

Now is the Time to Buy: Outdoor Furniture

With summer officially coming to an end (sniffle, sniffle) and the temperatures cooling down, the last thing you are probably thinking about is buying outdoor furniture for your patio. However, as I often advise, the off-season is prime time for discounted prices. That being said, now is the time to stock up on outdoor furniture in preparation for those great cookouts and gatherings next summer!

Red Envelope is featuring a bunch of items for up to 70% off. One of my faves on the list are these chrome candlesticks that are 58% off for $9.99. Each candlestick holds two candles. I love how they're both modern and elegant at the same time. Happy shopping!

Z Gallerie Sale

Z Gallerie is definitely one of my favorite furniture/home stores EVER. Right now they are having a great sale with items up to 70% off including these embroidered sonali pillows on sale for $51.89 a piece (originally $129.95 and also available in beige and chocolate brown). All sales are final for their discounted items, so make sure you really want it before you buy it.

Heart Ramekins: Show Your Love

Valentine's Day may be over, but you can show your love any day of the year with these heart shaped ramekins from Crate and Barrel for only $1.95 a piece. What a great way to serve Crème Brûlée, chocolate tortes or any other individualized dessert for your special someone.

Martha Stewart Dinnerware Closeout

As many of you may have heard, today Martha Stewart announced she is buying almost everything Emeril Lagasse has to offer for $50 million! To commemorate this "YAY, Martha!" move, check out the great Martha Stewart pieces on closeout from Macy's. All plates and bowls are only $6.95 - 7.95 a piece.

Diva Deal Alert! JC Penney Final Sale

I found some of these great deals on JC Penney's site and just had to pass them along!

Pedestal Table in light cherry wood finish - $89.99 (was $399.99!)

What a great deal for this beautiful table. The low down: the table is a light cherry, not the mahogany finish in the picture. The challenge will just be to find chairs to match (the chairs featured in the picture don't have the same wood finish available online). However, for such a great price it may still be worth buying!

Wall Mirror - $29.99 (was $119.99!)

So I don't know what's up with the description they have on their site, but let's just assume that the price does correspond to the picture they feature. For a mirror this size, $29.99 is a great prices.

Sale at Z Gallerie

Z Gallerie is my absolute favorite furniture/home goods store. Their sophisticated, contemporary merchandise is great! Below are some items I found during their sale section on their website. The catch: items on sale can't be returned!

Chocolate Cascade King/Queen Duvet - $69.99 (was $229.95)

Cube Vodka Set - $18.79 (was $26.95)

This set includes six shot glasses and a rectangular container. As seen in the picture, fill up the rectangular container with ice to cool the vodka in the shot glasses. They also carry a cube martini set that works similarly.

Diamonte Sconce - $24.89 (was $49.95)

You will have to buy your own candles, but I love the look of this sconce unit. Great for a foyer or any room in your house!
